Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you download ebooks from Proquest Ebook Central.
Step 1. Sign into ProQuest ebook central.
Click the sign-in link located in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Sign into ProQuest ebook central with your own credentials.
Step 2. Download ProQuest ebooks.
Once signed in, search the book you want to download, click the book title to go to the details.
There are two Downloading Options available: “Download Book” or “Download Chapter”. It also allows you to read ProQuest ebook central ebooks online.

1 To download the full eBook, click the "Download book" button.

Now run Adobe Digital Editions and open the .acsm file with ADE. This action will convert acsm to pdf files. If you choose epub as the output format when downloading from ProQuest, when you drag and drop the acsm to ADE, you will get the epub files instead of EPUB.
